Description
Allowing the fruit to stay on the vine and dehydrate intensifies the aromas and flavours to the point of perfection. Omega White is a dessert, full-flavoured wine, exhibiting aromas of rose and Turkish delight (lokum), followed by notes of pear, apricot, and the spicy floral aromas of the Gewurztraminer grape. The residual sugar is well balanced by acidity, giving a pleasant, long finish.
Paired with fruit-based desserts, quinces baked in their syrup, galaktoboureko (milk cream & philo pastry pie), revani (semolina cake) plain or with vanilla ice cream, and loukoumades (traditional honey puffs). Excellent with blue cheese of all kinds, foie gras, and game birds.
