Description
Produced from the oldest vines on the estate, over 25 years old, with small yields. Dense red-black colour with purple hues, and complex bouquet dominated by aromas of ripe plum, mulberry, and red pepper. Rich on the palate, with solid tannins, and long aftertaste. Ideal for wine connoisseurs looking to age their red wines in a cellar for 20-25 years. Served at 16-18 °C. Shortly before drinking, its aromas are best released if transferred into a glass carafe for 30 minutes.
Paired with game, lamb with vegetables, red meat fillets, and hard cheeses.
