Description
A unique wine which demonstrates the potential of Xinomavro to yield white wines of real character. Golden colour. Complex bouquet which combines Xinomavro’s aromas from fruit and white flowers with the aromas of the oak barrel (honey, nuts, coffee, chocolate, and smoke). Full-bodied with peppery notes in the mouth and a long finish. One of the few Greek white wines that respond well to bottle-aging!
Paired with baked fish, and fish in white sauce. Excellent with game.
Serving suggestion: Sarmades from Naousa (stuffed cabbage leaves according to the traditional local repice).
Served at 10-12°C.
