On the finish, red Alpha Syrah stands out for its balanced and discreet tannins and the long persistent aromas dominated by toffee. An excellent aged wine.
Paired with juicy red meat, grilled fleshy mushrooms, roasted lamb, game birds, and medium intensity matured soft cheeses.
