Description
Pinot Noir by 95 %. The fine lees from the vinification process of the next year’s Assyrtiko grapes complement the rest 5 %. After fermentation with indigenous yeasts from the vineyard, the wine matures for 24 months in oak barrels previously used for the Moschopolis white and rosé wine collection. It’s bottled unfiltered to maintain all its qualities.
Bright and elegant, with fine sweet aromas, full and intense bouquet of mulberries, with notes of red flowers. Light earthy and mineral notes unfold gradually during aging. Bright red colour with light purple highlights. Pure and elegant on the palate, bringing a cherry flavour with robust, spicy and delightful tannins. The long-year aging rewards with enhanced concentration and structure.
