Description
Bombay Sapphire is based on Bombay Dry original recipe, which was inspired by Thomas Dakin in 1761 and was the DNA of all Bombay gins. The composition of Bombay Sapphire is truly unique. While for the creation of simple gin the herbs are boiled together with the distillate to achieve the desired aroma, in the case of Bombay Sapphire the flavour is created through a process of vapour infusion. The 10 precious herbs used for the Bombay gin are kept separate from the distillate in perforated copper baskets and release their aroma as the hot steam rises. The result is a complex aromatic spirit, with a wider and more balanced flavour.
