The Original 5-year-old was aged in specialist first-fill Bourbon barrels, American virgin oak barrels, and Rye barrels, imparting “waves of ginger, sweet spice, and smoky oak sugar.”
Aromas of baking spices, burnt honey and espresso, with hazelnuts, smoked almonds and caramel.
Taste of sweet peat, rich chocolate and heather honey, with cinnamon, ginger and oak-smoked sugar.
