Description
It is produced from the Syrah, Merlot and Limnio varieties with the classic red wine vinification. Aged for about a year in French oak barrels, it has a bright deep purple colour and a complex bouquet of spices and ripe black fruit, such as plum, and cherry. In the mouth, the gentle tannins are supported by plenty of fruit, reflecting power and balance. Long aftertaste with repetition of spices. Long aging potential. Served at 16-18 °C. Paired with pork, grilled red meat, a variety of poultry in the oven, game in tomato sauce, and matured cheeses.
