Description
Deep red, dense colour. Concentrated, multi-layered bouquet dominated by aromas of black fruit, vanilla, toasted bread, chocolate, and spices. Full-bodied, well-crafted, with intense yet aristocratic tannins, wrapped by an abundance of ripe fruit. Warm and rich, with remarkable balance, completed by a long, spicy finish.
Paired with red meat, especially lamb, in almost any versions. Try it also with braised casserole veal, rib eye, roasted duck, or rabbit stew.
