Description
The white wine of the Boutari label is dry, aromatic with notes of white flowers (jasmine, citrus blossoms), ripe stone fruits (peach, apricot) and citrus fruits (lime, grapefruit, lemon). In addition to its strong aromatic character, Malagouzia also has a very particular oily texture. This makes it ideal to be combined with tender molluscs such as cuttlefish and squid, grilled or sautéed (to preserve their buttery texture and blend with that of Malagouzia). If you add an aromatic citrus and herb-based sauce to the dish, the combination will be perfect. On the other hand, it can be a pleasant accompaniment to green salads and pasta with light vegetable or pesto sauces.
