The first Greek single barrel and cask strength aged spirit from “Púro Karathanos Artisan Spirits”.
Deep copper-colored spirit with reddish highlights, from its long stay in the barrel, with intense “tears” to testify its condensation. It has intense and elegantly “sweet” aromas of flowers (rose, pollen, citrus), dried yellow fruits, aromatic herbs, honey, raisins and a complex bouquet of a dense and highly aromatic palette of vanilla, coconut, spices, bitter almond, caramel, coffee, chocolate, cedar, tobacco, cigar. The aftertaste is sensational and particularly pleasant, with a very long duration and evolution, recalling the aromatic and flavourful richness of the ingredients that come from the grape, vinification, distillation and barrel, creating a harmonious whole with a unique character.
Drunk like the great aged spirits, ideally neat in a large bollard tasting glass, it accompanies nuts, dried fruits, sweets, bitter chocolates, smoked delicacies and, of course, for those who smoke, an aromatic and complex Cuban cigar!
