Description
Tsigello is the original Mavrodaphne in its dry version, with vibrant violet colour and an intense aromatic profile. It is characterised by a multi-layered aroma, with dominant notes those of small red fruit, laurel, vanilla, and wild Greek herbs. A fresh wine, yet matured and aged in handmade clay amphorae, which has tempered its bold tannins, and the short stay in oak barrels has given a balanced structure.
Excellent pair for grilled meat and game birds. Ideal for medium cheeses, pasta in tomato and spicy sauces, and eggplant dishes. Also, a good match for cured meat and cheese platters.
