Description
Deep red colour. Aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, plum, bitter chocolate, smoke, with the spices and the vanilla from the oak aging. Medium acidity, long aftertaste, intense tannins. Matured for 17 months in French and American barrels.
Paired with roasted meat, and most of high-fat cheeses. Gentle aeration in a decanter is recommended.
